Travel is cuckoo in Charlotte. The gi-norm-ous security perimeter makes getting to the Time Warner Arena a real trick, and while we’re told that there are three security entrances to the area around the arena, we’ve only found two of them. On Tuesday, buckets of rain added an extra challenge getting into the DNC nerve center. A team of Youth Radio reporters and producers hopped one of the shuttle buses, only to get caught in a snarl of traffic. “Argh. Ugh. I’m bored! Are we there yet?” That was my reaction anyway, but reporter Andrew Meyer had a more productive response…mugging for the camera.
